Spring Clean Up
St. Malachy will be having its annual clean up day on Friday, April 26th. Students in third through eighth grade need to bring rakes. Please make sure the rake is labeled with your child's name. Students should wear clothes that can get dirty. A $1 donation is also being requested from each student. This will go towards pots, soil, and flowers for the front entrance. Since students can already wear sweats, Friday is a $1 Hat Spirit Day.

Lap-A-Thon
Lap-a-Thon will be held on Thursday, May 2nd. Third, fourth, and fifth grade students will be lapping from 10:00-11:00 AM. Students may bring a water bottle to have outside when they are running. Students may also bring an electronic and headphones for listening to music as they lap. Please remember to return the donation envelopes to school.

Field Trip
Second and third grade students will be taking a field trip to Living History Farms on Tuesday, May 14th. Cost of the field trip is $13.25 per child. If writing a check, please make payable to Janet Meisenheimer. Students will also need to bring a sack lunch on this day. We are asking students wear his/her St. Malachy attire on this day. Parents are welcome to attend and ride the bus if he/she would like to. The cost is $15.00 per adult.  A note pertaining to the field trip has been included in the take home folder. Please return the permission slip and fee to school by Friday, May 10th. If you have any questions, please feel free to email or call.

Biography Book Report Projects
Projects are due on Wednesday, May 8th. Hopefully students have a good start to the book he/she is reading. Like I told the students, this is not a project that can be completed over night. The Biography Bash for parents to come and view all of the projects is on Wednesday, May 15th at 10:30 AM.
