Students created brochures for the incoming third grade class in the fall that included "Things to Know" about third grade.

Please take time this summer to have your child read.  Research shows students who read over the summer tend to gain a month of reading proficiency. Talk with your child about what they are reading. The public library always a great summer reading program for students to participate in.

Thank You
Thank you for allowing me to teach to teach your child this past school year. It has been great to watch them grow, change, and progress as students. I hope everyone has a great summer break with their family. I will be busy attending my children's activities.  My son will keep me busy with golf tournaments and summer basketball league. My daughter will be a senior at Creston High School in the fall. We have senior pictures scheduled and hope to get some graduation planning done in between her busy work schedule and weights. I am also taking a class during the beginning of June about student strategies and another in August on writing. I am also attending two concerts at the Iowa State Fair in August. We hope to a little family vacation at some point as well. I hope to see all the students back in the fall as 4th graders.
